Time Part IV

She'd lived years of majority,
many younger years
thinking she was to blame.
The fault of the crevice
overwhelming in enormity.

Her parents had no longer
smiled the jubilant smiles,
The laughter seen in the jump
Of Chinese checker marbles on
those sweaty summer nights.

"Love", she thought, her young
mind summing, was simply a
longevity. Her parents had loved
because of the many years before
that had gone so very neatly.

So when she realized that she
who had obviously been the
difference, was the reason,
the end. She could not ignore
seeing only herself to blame.

And her parents never told her "No".
