Childlike affair
When I stare across the room
and the bright pink magnolias
shimmer in the coarse air
that surrounds us, I wonder...
Do you remember that time,
when we were but a boy
and a girl...
Pairs of yellow
dandelions, from your hands
to mine, whispering into
my ear, as sunlight
washed down on our shiny
faces, washed in cold
summer sweat? Love.
